Music brings\u00a0feeling and heart into films and stage plays. Didn&#8217;t you\u00a0melt, just a little, when first you heard <em>\u201cWhen You Wish Upon a Star\u201d<\/em> in <em>Pinocchio<\/em>?<\/h2>\n<p>The\u00a0<em>Pinocchio<\/em> theme\u00a0song, released with Disney&#8217;s second animated feature film in 1940, has become an iconic theme for the Disney organization. \u00a0For decades, Disney has brought evil and good to life by harnessing the power of music to tell and advance its stories. \u00a0When Disneyland opened in the mid 1950&#8217;s, live musical acts and performances were key to welcoming children and adults to the &#8220;Happiest Place On Earth.&#8221; \u00a0Each themed &#8220;land&#8221; had music playing that reinforced its theme: \u00a0Drums in Adventure Land, Sousa on Main Street!\u00a0 So, it&#8217;s no surprise that 62 years later, Disney continues to hold music in highest regard and offers student actors, musicians and singers lots of performance opportunities, educational workshops and competitions. \u00a0Disney makes it easy for students to display their skills and to grow as artists on A\u00a0Music\u00a0Trip to\u00a0Disney Parks!<\/p>\n<hr class=\"tall\" \/>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive\" title=\"Music Travel Consultants is a Disney Recognized Youth Travel Planner.\" src=\"https:\/\/www.musictravel.com\/img\/walt-disney-world.png\" alt=\"Music Travel Consultants is a Disney Recognized Youth Travel Planner.\" data-appear-animation=\"fadeInUp\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<hr class=\"tall\" \/>\n<h3>Here are just a few things your group can do:<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"list list-icons\">\n<li><i class=\"fa fa-check\"><\/i> Want to give your group or students an opportunity to be a part of the most magical parade on earth? Following a high-energy warm-up, your students will learn valuable flag and movement basics. Next, they will be led through a fun-filled and magical routine with exciting choreography on tall flag and swing flag, complete with show props. When your Disney Show Producer gets a call for a last minute \u201cspecial event,\u201d your students are put through an \u201caudition\u201d and cast into roles for the show. After a simulated Disney rehearsal, the clinic culminates in an exhilarating simulated performance incorporating all of the equipment and prop routines the students have learned.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"fa fa-check\"><\/i> See the importance of discipline in dance, show presentation and movement to dance teams, show choirs, drill teams and color guards. She credits these activities more than any others for teaching her valuable life lessons in teamwork, discipline, and hard work. Emily went on to Indiana University to get her Bachelor\u2019s degree in International Studies and East Asian Languages and Cultures, with an internship in South Korea that cemented her desire to travel to many distant places and encounter other people and cultures. She has now been to England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, and South Korea, and hopes to see many more. Emily has experienced firsthand the extreme dedication and hard work that students, staff, and supporters put into their programs each year, the order and organization required to get the band to its shows\\\/concerts with everything they need, and the great satisfaction that comes from a job well done with everyone\u2019s help. She herself hails from Avon, Indiana, where she played trombone and euphonium in the Marching Black and Gold, Wind Ensemble, and various other musical groups throughout her high school career. She credits these activities more than any others for teaching her valuable life lessons in teamwork, discipline, and hard work. Emily went on to Indiana University to get her Bachelor\u2019s degree in International Studies and East Asian Languages and Cultures, with an internship in South Korea that cemented her desire to travel to many distant places and encounter other people and cultures. She has now been to England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, and South Korea, and hopes to see many more. Emily has experienced firsthand the extreme dedication and hard work that students, staff, and supporters put into their programs each year, the order and organization required to get the band to its shows\/concerts with everything they need, and the great satisfaction that comes from a job well done with everyone\u2019s help.
