Music Travel Consultants, the leader in student music group travel, is pleased to announce the MTC Student Trip Journalist program.<\/p>\n

MTC has long supported the success of student musicians. We also fully support all forms of art expression, writing and other academic endeavors by those in performing groups realizing that many additional hidden talents exist in these young leaders.<\/p>\n

The Trip Journalist should have an interest in journalism, possibly as a future career and is chosen by the group director. The Trip Journalist is asked to document the group travel experience from the student view, selecting a trip hashtag, posting photographs to various social media outlets throughout the trip, keeping notes of trip events and collecting quotes from others in the traveling party.<\/p>\n

Once the trip is complete, the Trip Journalist will submit a blog. The blog will be produced by MTC for publication in their school, on their group\u2019s sites, in the community and on local news outlets. We believe this type of practical experience can be a confidence builder for an up-and-coming writer. <\/p>\n
