Watch a BOA Regional: In Person, on Screen or from the Suite

There are many ways to watch a Bands of America event this fall; attend in person, host a BOX5 watch party or join MTC at Grand Nationals.

About BOA Regional Championships

Bands of America, a program of Music for All, runs the premier championship series in competitive marching band. Regionals are one-day championships held at college and high school stadiums across the country. Meanwhile, Super Regionals span two days with more groups and the season culminates at the Grand National Championships in Indianapolis. Best of all, each event pairs nationally recognized adjudicators with a festival atmosphere that Music for All calls a positively life-changing experience.

Why Your Students Should Watch a BOA Regional

You do not have to compete to get the full value from a championship weekend. Watching elite bands live is one of the most efficient teaching tools a director has, and it works for students at every level.

  • Show Design Inspiration
Students see current trends in music arrangement, visual storytelling and prop use in a single afternoon.
  • Clearer Standards
Hearing national-caliber ensembles in person calibrates what your students believe a great tone, balance and ensemble clarity sound like.
  • Recruitment Fuel
Few recruiting tools work as well as excellence students can see for themselves.
  • No Pressure – All Payoff
With no rehearsal schedule, no warm-up slot and no score, your only job is to enjoy and learn.

Go in Person: Remaining 2026 Events

Host a BOA Watch Party With BOX5

If the drive is too far this season, you can still watch a BOA Regional live. BOX5 Media streams the full Bands of America season so your band room can become the best seat in the house.

  • Make it an Event
Reserve the auditorium, queue the stream on the big screen and bring snacks, games and prizes.
  • Play Marching Band Bingo
Hand out bingo cards with squares that relate to marching band such as a rifle toss, horns down, a forced arch, a face back field transition, a drum major salute or a flag catch. First student to five in a row wins.
  • Watch and Learn
Enjoy a performance then take the time during breaks to ask students what they noticed or enjoyed. As a result, the discussion builds the same ears your ensemble uses in every rehearsal.

Directors: Watch Grand National Prelims, Semi-Finals from our Suite

The season culminates at Lucas Oil Stadium for the BOA Grand National Championships, Nov. 12-14. As the official travel provider for Bands of America, Music Travel Consultants welcomes directors to watch from portions of the show from our suite. We also host directors in our suite during the Indianapolis Super Regional, Oct. 16-17, so you can see a championship weekend up close before the season peaks. To get started, reach out and we will plan a time for a member of our team to meet you and your staff. Or simply stop by our booth in the stadium during Grand Nationals. Above all, it is the best bird’s-eye view in marching music. Space may be limited. Our suite is not available during GN Finals.
