Disney Imagination Campus announces the return of Candelight Processional.

Your choir will never forget this magical program that takes place at Epcot during the holiday season. A Disney Candlelight Processional performance retells the Christmas story with the Voices of Liberty. Disney cast members audition to be part of the Christmas Tree with high school choirs from around the globe, all accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and a special guest celebrity narrator. Recent narrators have included Laurie Hernandez, Matt Bomer, Ana Gasteyer, Whoopi Goldberg, Pat Sajak, Jodi Benson, Kurt Russell, Warwick Davis, Trace Adkins, Neil Patrick Harris, CCH Pounder, Jaci Velazquez and Chandra Wilson. This breathtaking choir performance opportunity is the centerpiece of Walt Disney World during the holiday season and tells the story of the birth of Jesus in both music and scripture. The Candlelight Processional is presented at America Gardens Theater where guests enjoy the great outdoors filled with beautiful songs and storytelling.

Application Process

Applications open in June.

Once the application is available, groups may apply any time through mid-September.

Group sizes between 20-50 performers, grades 9-12 are invited to apply.

The Show

The Candlelight Processional and Massed Choir Program Candlelight is a 50-minute show that presents the traditional Christmas Story through song and narration with a celebrity guest narrator. Accepted groups will join a massed choir in a professional Disney production. Also performing in the show will be the Walt Disney World Orchestra and the Voices of Liberty! The show runs every night from the day after Thanksgiving thru December 30, at America Gardens Theater, an outdoor venue in EPCOT.
