MTC Donates to Show Choirs for Thirst
Music Travel Consultants is proud to partner with Heart of America. HOA will celebrate their 10th Anniversary season in 2025. As part of our relationship with HOA, we continue to support the Thirst Foundation and Show Choirs for Thirst.
The mission of Thirst Project is simple: Build a socially conscious generation of young people who END the global water crisis. To do this, we must educate people about the crisis and activate them to rock the clean water cause and build water projects worldwide. Why Water? Health and Sanitation: Waterborne diseases kill more yearly than AIDS, Malaria and all world violence combined.
Heart of America, with a matching gift from Music Travel Consultants (MTC), will donate $16,992 to the Thirst Project and Show Choirs for Thirst. This donation will provide clean water for life for over 700 people. A village in the nation of Eswatini will forever have clean water, plus an additional village will be partially funded.

At each Heart of America competition in March, audience members were made aware of the global water crisis and asked to donate as generously as possible during Miracle Minutes. Once all the funds from the three events were raised, MTC matched the donations.
Thirst’s partnership with HOA dates back nine years via a commitment from HOA founder Chad Alexander. Now, under the leadership of co-owners Ryan Morris and Mark Harting, as well as Executive Producer Dan Baker, the partnership has grown and expanded. HOA, combined with matches from MTC, has now raised over $70,000.
We are honored that the HOA/MTC team is being presented this year’s prestigious Board of Governors Award at the Annual Thirst Project Celebrity Gala in Los Angeles.
