Flower Mound HS and Avon HS to March in the 2024 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
Music Travel Consultants is preparing to take two bands to the 2024 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Warmest congratulations to Flower Mound HS (TX) and Avon HS (IN) for their acceptance into the 98th iteration of this iconic spectacle!
In addition to participating in the parade, students on MTC Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade trips will have unique opportunities to experience NYC during the holidays.
Bryant Park Winter Village
Featuring a 17,000-square-foot ice-skating rink and more than 170 shopping kiosks and food vendors, it’s officially Christmas in the city once the Bryant Park Winter Village returns to one of the best parks in NYC.
Radio City Christmas Spectacular
Featuring the world-renowned Rockettes, this annual 90-minute Radio City Music Hall show traditionally showcases holiday favorites like the “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers,” the “Living Nativity” and Santa’s magical 3-D Sleigh Ride!
Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
The crowning experience of the trip, the Macy’s Parade features exciting floats, gigantic helium balloons, big-name celebrities, the world-famous Rockettes, four thousand Macy’s employees and many band and musical units! Over three million people will be lining the streets and another 44 million viewers will see it at home via the services of NBC and CBS television.

Thanksgiving Dinner Cruise
Bands will experience festive Thanksgiving Day dining, dancing and spectacular views of Manhattan and New York Harbor on a dinner cruise in celebration of their participation in the iconic Macy’s Parade.
