Universal’s Superstar Pre-Parade (Year-long Opportunities)
You bring the performers and we’ll bring the crowd! Snap to attention and get ready to march through the streets of Universal Studios Florida™, right before Universal’s Superstar Parade steps off. You’ll march the parade’s exact route, so there will already be a crowd lined up, waiting to applaud your band! It’s a unique chance for your students to become Universal Studios performers for a day. What a wonderful student performance trip to Universal Orlando!
Universal Studios Florida™ (Year-long Opportunities)
One minute your marching group will BE the entertainment in one of Orlando’s most thrilling theme parks. The next minute, they’ll live it on the jaw-dropping rides and attractions throughout both Universal Studios Florida™ and Universal’s Islands of Adventure™.
Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s Pre-Parade (Select Nights November through January)
Bring your band to Universal Studios Florida™ to warm up the streets, as it marches just before Universal’s newest holiday parade! Santa Claus has his hands full as the Minions bring merry and mayhem to the parade, along with Dreamworks characters from Madagascar and Shrek. Universal and Macy*s are partnering on this fun, exciting parade experience!
Music Festivals
OrlandoFest
OrlandoFest offers Music Festivals and Workshops providing the highest quality, education-based musical experience for each student and director, while reinforcing musical concepts being taught within the classroom. Music Festivals run from March through early June at performing arts centers near Universal Orlando Resort™. Festivals conclude with a fun and exciting awards ceremony at Universal’s Islands of Adventure™. On the Custom Workshops track, ensembles experience a fast-paced, focused session in which they learn to play or sing together at a new level. The OrlandoFest team provides unparalleled service whether you choose the Festival or the Workshop option.
Music USA Festivals
For over 45 years, Music USA Festivals has promoted “Music Education Through Positive Evaluation.” Over 150,000 student performers have enjoyed Universal Orlando Resorts’ Soundstage 33. Each group receives a professional recording of its performance and meaningful on-stage clinics led by distinguished adjudicators. Choice of performance times at signup, unloading at the soundstage, easy park entry and a Grand Awards Ceremony with large custom trophies make this festival experience second to none!
Music in the Parks
Music in the Parks’ adjudicated music festivals have been for decades the leader in quality events for bands, choirs and orchestras. Held throughout the spring, featuring a year-end assessment of your group by highly qualified music educators, Music in the Parks festivals offer the very best way to reinforce the lessons you have worked on all year.
